Post 1 - Economic crisis is the most important world issue

I believe that right now the most important world issue is the economic crisis. I say this because economics is tied to everything. Right now in the United States there are so little jobs that people are forced to sign up to the army to be able to work, I like to call this the poverty draft. It’s not a real draft but it can be called a draft because the economic crisis is forcing citizens into joining the army. Also the economic crisis faced by the U.S. brings down the economy of all its trading partners, a big one being Canada.  The economic crisis also affects the U.S. Elections; I think that the party with the best economic recovery plan will be the one to take office. A worry that I have is that a party with a good economic plan may take power but if they also have a plan to spend a lot on supporting revolutions in the Arab springs then that could very well worsen the economic situation. Overall the economic crisis effects all of us and that is why I think it is the most important issue.
